The Haystacks
$950.00
19th-century French School oil on wood, signed in the lower right corner by Aline Le Mouton (1892-1971). The work is smooth to the touch.
An Impressionist landscape with a luminosity affirmed by its abundance of light color. The brushstrokes are stretched and give a lot of breath to the work. The haystacks and foliage are more condensed. Shades of green create a captivating depth and a sense of rural tranquility.
