La Barque

20th-century French School oil on wood painting of a covered sailboat, signed Louis Jean Alfred Bonamici (1878-1966). The work has a little texture to the touch.

A captivating post-impressionist boat painting with its colors and relief. The realization with the knife offers movement through texture, reflections and gradients of color. Sky and sea merge creating infinite depth and an even more immersive effect. The boat's painted stripes and crimson cover add a Mediterranean touch.
