A 19th-century large-scale oil painting on canvas signed E. Joly (19th - 20th century). 

This large format canvas features a dense, balanced composition of fruits, onions, cauliflower and poultry spilling out of a woven basket on an old stone block. The result is realist, with chiaroscuro and minute details recalling the influence of Flemish and Dutch painters of the 17th century.

Some small white marks and traces are visible around the signature but the brightness of the colors indicates that the work has done well over time.
