The composition opens naturally toward the water and horizon, balancing the density of the foreground vegetation with the luminous openness of the sky and sea beyond.

The brushwork varies throughout the composition in both texture and rhythm. The trees and foreground are rendered with compact, layered strokes that create depth and movement, while the sea and sky are treated more broadly, allowing for softer transitions of color and atmosphere.
