A quietly bold and luminous watercolor and gouache on thick art paper, depicting a stylized landscape of rolling fields and distant hills. In the foreground, neatly plotted fields are lined with trees, with a wall and tower dividing the composition. The textured, dimpled surface of the paper adds richness, while the use of charcoal or pencil to outline the fields and define the tower and trees brings a sense of depth and a distinctly modern touch.
