Blue River
20th Century French School oil on canvas, mounted on cardboard, and signed by Georges Sauclières (1880-1932). The artwork is perfectly smooth to the touch.
A pastel blue and monochrome landscape with bright light representing a reserved but peaceful moment. The mastered impressionist foggy effects and cloudy reflections in the water are captivating. The light and pastel tones of the background mountains gives a significant depth to the landscape.
