19th century French School oil painting on wood panel, signed Albert Gautier (1846-1938) and dated 1891 in the lower right. The work has no superfluous texture to the touch.

A riverside with a bright and slightly veiled light impacting the palette with pastel tones. The brushstrokes are extremely detailed. The reflections on the water are finely executed and captivating.
