This oil painting shows a unique "bird's eye view" of a house in the middle of a forest, with a path leading to and from the home. Parts of the scene, such as one face of the house and the path are bathed in sunlight. The dense forest feels lush and wild. The painting is signed in the lower right hand as "G. Blanchard." The chippy white wooden frame adds a sweet farmhouse effect.
