20th-century French school painting on wood. The work has texture to the touch. An old Parisian framing label appears on the back from the 10th arrondissement.

A bright colored port scene, with one sailing boat as the central figure. Along the docks on the right hand side, we see figures, and the movement suggests readying for departure. A village of terracotta-colored roofs against a gorgeous sky completes the summer scene. The colors are vivid, specifically the turquoise waters.
