20th-century French school oil on canvas. The work has texture to the touch.

A sweet vertical painting of a village and church tower, painted from the viewpoint of a shady spot under a large tree. The town is dotted in many colors; pink, lavender, green and brown. The brushstrokes are fluid and loose, animating the scene. 

The condition of the painting is very good. There are a few very small scratches on the surface, the stretches canvas is a tiny bit loose in it's frame, and the outer frame is not an original antique.
