20th-century French school oil on wooden panel. dated June 28, 1912 in pencil on the back, and uniquely, there is an inscription of when the painting was supposed painting; around 7 or 8 p.m. The work has little texture to the touch.

This small format oil on wood has such wonderful movement of brushstrokes and colors, with lilac, pinks, and blues meeting the greens and browns of the landscape, and contributing to the effect that signals last light (7 or 8 p.m.).

The condition of the painting is distressed. The wood is solid, but the outermost edge has dark marks (probably from a frame) and there are some scratches across the surface, notably in the lower left.
