Les Dahlias

Original oil painting from France: Large scale still life with Dahlias from the French School of the 20th century, painted in oil on hardboard, dated and monogrammed in the lower left corner.

The composition has beautiful thick brushstrokes on the petals, and a smoother, uniform background. The bouquet is illuminated, and the golden frame with matte reflections offers a special grounding for the bouquet.
