Original oil painting from France: Oil painting on wood panel. An impressionist work signed Paul Sébilleau (1847-1907) and dated 1898. You can see a figure near a house and at the edge of a stream. A thick mist with orange colors envelops the scene, reinforced by a gradient of green which is lost on the horizon of the fog.

About the artist: Paul Sébilleau is part of a line of Bordeaux landscape painters who were influenced by Corot and Courbet. The Gironde, Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, and the Dordogne were his favorite subjects. Sébilleau exhibited in Parisian salons, Bordeaux and in the USA.
